Alicia Sacramone Brady Quinn_ It may have been a coincidence that hours after Tim Tebow emerged for the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Broncos No. 3 quarterback Brady Quinn took off on a jet plane to be by girlfriend Alicia Sacramone's side. But it sure seemed fitting.

Shortly after Tebow almost led the Broncos to a come-from-behind victory against the San Diego Chargers, Quinn was right there for his favorite U.S. gymnast in the whole world while she recovered from surgery on her torn Achilles tendon.

Sacramone, who was featured in ESPN the Magazine's latest Body Issue, tweeted on Monday:


Now all that is left for Quinn is to win the Best Quarterback Award in the National Football League.

Quinn made headlines at the expense of Tebow in the offseason when he surpassed the fan favorite on the Broncos' depth chart.

But it was Tebow who emerged after starter Kyle Orton struggled in the first half against the Chargers on Sunday. Tebow's numbers weren't particularly impressive, but he did account for two touchdowns and almost led the Broncos back from a 23-10 halftime deficit.

While I'm sure Quinn is always by Sacramone's side, it probably wasn't that difficult for him to flee Denver after coming to the realization that he really wasn't Orton's No. 1 backup.

While Tebow was selected near the end of the first round in the 2010 NFL draft, Quinn was selected near the end of the first round in the 2007 draft. But despite being in the NFL for longer, Quinn was in similar territory as Tebow this offseason, traded by the Cleveland Browns a year ago after disappointing in Cleveland.

Quinn's chances of being an NFL starting quarterback look slim now, but he's probably not having a horrible time given he goes home to Sacramone.
