Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon dropped by record label

SINGER and TV star Alesha Dixon has been dropped by her record label, she revealed last night.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge’s contract with Asylum Records is not being extended to a third album.
A statement from her and the firm said: “It became clear during our discussions that Alesha and her label had creative differences.”
Alesha delivered the label its first international success with her million-selling The Boy Does Nothing but her second album fared badly, reaching number 84 in the UK.
The star, 32, who was originally with the girl band Misteeq, was dropped as a solo artist by Polydor Records in 2006.
After her stint as a judge on the BBC’s dance show, her career enjoyed a revival and she signed with Asylum. She will be back on TV at the end of the summer presenting a talent series on CBBC.
