 every state or city is haunted by Ghosts or supernatural powers. Some of these places actually have some horror story associated with them and some of them are just made by locals. In Haunted locations you will be able to see or observe some paranormal activities. Haunted word itself is so scary and haunted places are the places where ghosts or supernatural powers are obsessed and cursed. 10. Forts of Bhangarh, Alwar (Rajasthan)
Bhangarh Fort in Rajasthan was built by King Madho Singh in 1613. Bhangarh Fort was destroyed soon after some time because of the curse by tantrik , he cursed that no one will built roof of their house over this place. Except Mandir’s and temples there none of the houses have roofs. Madho Singh grandson Ajab Singh, built his palace to such a height that the destruction of the entire town started. Local people says that nobody returned who stayed there after dark. Archaeology Survey of India has put up a sign board there ” staying there after sunset is strictly prohibited” and have set up there office 1 km away from the cursed fort.


9. Dumas Beach, Surat (Gujarat)
Famous beautiful beach of Gujrat have many stories about spirits. Hindu’s have the tradition of burning  dead bodies on the beach and this beach is reported as the haunted place as many paranormal activities occur. Tourists hear whispers on the beach like somebody is giving warning to go back or don’t go ahead. Many tourists have disappeared while walking on the beach at night. Dogs bark seeing ghosts on the beach.

 8. Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh)
The scary story behind this Ramoji Film city is that it was built on the war grounds of the Nizam Sultans. Ramoji Film City is a very big film city in Hyderabad. There on regular basis paranormal activities occurs  Paranormal activities while shooting like lights falling off the ceiling, torn clothes, pushing light man from the top by invisible hands , strange marks left on the mirrors written in urdu. These incidents were not revealed because of business reasons. And these paranormal activities cant be stopped.

 7. GP Block, Meerut (Uttar Pradesh)
GP Block of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh is not a well known place but it is haunted place. GP Block is a double storey house and people passing through that area have seen boys spirits sitting on the roof. Some have seen girls coming out of the house in red dress.And the scene which number of people have seen numerous times is four guys sitting in the house with one lighted candle in between and drinking bear.People have now stopped going or passing through that area.

 6. Hotel Savoy, Mussoorie (Uttarakhand)
Hotel Savoy is the one of haunted hotels in India. Hotel Savoy is in Mussoorie and was opened in 1902. In this hotel, dead body was found in a very mysterious  condition in the early 1910. The halls and corridors are haunted by the ghost of Lady Garnet Orme. She was killed by poison and she is still looking for the person who poisoned her. She walks on the corridors of the hotel at night and people who have seen her there told she will look straight at you with blank expressions.

 5. Shaniwarwada Fort, Pune (Maharashtra) 
Shaniwarwada Fort of Pune is known for its scariest stories and is also a historic Fort. At this place 13yr old Peshwa dynasty heir Narayana was badly assassinated by one of his relative. As he was running all over the fort crying loud for help ” kaka mala vachva” as his killers were chasing him. Even today Local people  hear his cries for help every new moon night . Full moon nights are the most haunted nights of this fort.

 4. Dow Hill, West Bengal
Dow Hill, Kurseong in West Bengal is one the haunted places in India. Many murders have taken place in this forest that gives a scary feeling. Locals have heard footsteps of spirits in the corridors of Victoria schools in the winter vacations. Woodcutters have seen numerous times a headless boy walking in the forest and disappearing in the trees. The forest and the school is recorded where paranormal activities occurs alot.

 3. Raj Kiran Hotel, Mumbai (Maharashtra)
Raj Kiran Hotel, Lonavala in Mumbai is not a big hotel but is famous for its haunted stories for sure. Paranormal activities happened there has been verified by paranormal experts. There is a room in the ground floor which is now  given on rent. As all the paranormal activities occur there. Guests in the middle of night have woke up and seen blue night on there feets and some have reported that somebody has pull there bed sheet from them.

 2. D’Souza Chawl of Mahim, Mumbai (Maharashtra)
The D’Souza chawl of Mahim of Mumbai is 2nd most haunted places in India. A lady died there in a well while getting water. Many local people have claim to have seen the spirit of that woman near the well during night. She is also very dangerous and harmless. Walking alone or going there alone is not at all safe there. Many incidents have occurred there.

 1. Brij Raj Bhavan Palace, Kota (Rajasthan)
Brij Raj Bhavan Palace is 175 yrs old was owned by the prince family of Kota, Rajasthan. In 1980, the palace was turned into a heritage hotel and has a resident ghost named Major Burton. Major Burton was killed by the Indian sepoys while serving as the British Resident of Kota. He was killed with his two sons in the central hall of the building. The ghost of Major Burton roams at the palace with a cane in his hand does not harm anybody. But at night if any of the guards are sleeping, he gives them a Slap.
