Suspect no match for wrestling sisters

An alleged hit-and-run driver proved to be no match for a pair of wrestling sisters who used their grappling skills to score a roadside takedown.
Brittany and Brienna Delgado, members of the Oklahoma City University wrestling team, then held the suspect with wrestling techniques until police arrived.
"My sister and I are very proficient wrestlers and also played football in high school, so we know about tackling," Brittany Delgado (right) told The Oklahoman.
The sisters were driving with their grandmother Saturday night when there was a collision with another car. The other driver got out of his car and started running away. Both Delgados pursued him with Brienna in the lead.
"When I was chasing him I was still yelling, 'You need to come back,'" Brienna told The Oklahoman. “I wasn't wearing the proper footwear. I got a little road rash when I tackled him."

Brienna said the man had his hands beneath him when she tackled him. Then, in case he had a weapon, she concentrated on securing his hands and brought them behind his back with a wrestling move (hammerlock or chicken wing, depending on your terminology or interpretation).

The tiny Coryell County town of Oglesby is known for its rattlesnakes and this weekend, 3,000 people piled around a snake pit to see a world record shattered.

KCEN was there to meet the “Snake Man” before his slithery bath.
In the snake pit, Heart of Texas Snake Handlers President Jackie Bibby is a star. “Having been bit numerous times,” he says, “I do know and understand the effect of a rattlesnake bite.”
Bibby is from Rising Star, Texas and is at the 42nd annual “Rattlesnake Round-up” to increase his own star power. “I’ll be trying to get in the bathtub with more than 120 rattlesnakes.”
Yep…a snake bath with at least 121 rattlers to break a Guinness Book world record. “Once I get the record in the can,” he says, “after that the rest is gonna be icing on the cake.”
The snakes thrown in the tub are not trained and tamed. They are Central Texas rattlers, through and through. Oglesby Lion’s Club President Duane Heiner says, “We have snake handlers and snake hunters that go out throughout the county, throughout various counties. They go round up a bunch of rattlesnakes and bring them in.”

With a crowd gathered around and some excited “Snake Man” fans, Bibby broke the world record, sitting in the tub with 123 snakes.
While the risk of these slitherers is extreme, it is one Bibby says he lives for. “You’re never more alive than when you’re near death,” he says.
Wonder what is done with all of these rattlesnakes after the round-up? Many snake hunters sell the meat to a buyer, who then sells it to Asian countries where the meat is considered a delicacy.

Still, in an attempt to protect Kim and Kris' privacy, the wedding planner sent out requests to nearby residents asking them to cover up their address numbers.

Ironically, no one has leaked as many details as the bride-to-be herself, with the help of her Twitter account and blog, plus indirectly through tons of paparazzi shots that show her looking fab while running pre-wedding errands. Kim, 30, has let everything slip from her wedding dress designer to the scent she'll wear as she weds Kris, 26. Here's a recap of what we know about the big day:

Forget about simple stationery! Kim had her invitations designed by Lehr & Black, the go-to peeps for celebrity unions. The company has also created wedding invites for Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Fergie and Josh Duhamel, and Kim's sister Khloe and Lamar Odom. People reports the fancy-schmancy black-and-white invitation arrived in its own box covered with -- get this -- jet black hematite crystals. It also specified that guests were to "wear black or white" to the black-tie affair.
